Prof. Ping Qing, Vice President for International Strategy of Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) and Mr. Hongrong Zhang, Dean and Secretary of HZAU College of Horticulture & Forestry Sciences paid a visit on August 16 to Kyoto University GSA and met with Dean Akira Murakami (Agricultural Facilities Engineering<\/a>) and Prof. Ryutaro Tao (Pomology<\/a>).<\/p>\n

HZAU and GSA concluded a department-level MoU and Student Exchange Agreement in 2017. The visit was made possible by taking advantage of the BXAI Summer Program held at Kyoto University, in which Vice President Qing gave a lecture.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, HZAU delegation expressed hope for expanding student exchange, based on the long-standing collaboration<\/a> between the two universities. Mr. Zhang also mentioned the possibility of the exchange of faculty and administrative staff. HZAU representatives\u2019 visit offered an opportunity to discuss the further development of collaboration between HZAU and GSA.<\/p>\n
